NLISR welcomes original research, systematic and narrative reviews, case studies, and editorial commentary in library and information science, digital preservation, archival practice, and knowledge management.

Our web-based submission system is being finalised. In the meantime, please email your manuscript, cover letter, and author declarations to the editorial office.

- Manuscripts should be between 4,000 and 9,000 words (excluding references).
- Use British English throughout.
- Submit as an editable Word document. Do not submit PDF-only manuscripts.
- Include an abstract of no more than 250 words and 4–6 keywords.
- Follow APA 7th edition for in-text citations and references.
- Anonymise the manuscript for double-blind peer review.
Author declarations
By submitting, authors confirm that:
- The work is original and has not been published elsewhere.
- All authors have approved the submission.
- All conflicts of interest and funding sources are disclosed.
- If accepted, the work will be published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) Licence.
Article Processing Charges
NLISR does not charge authors any Article Processing Charges (APCs). Publication in NLISR is free for authors and free for readers.
